The PCA9512ADP,118 is a line driver and buffer IC with LEVSHFT technology manufactured by NXP. It is an I2C/SMBUS bidirectional buffer and features two independent line drivers and two bidirectional buffers able to handle high speed data transmissions. It has a very small package of 3.5 mm x 3.1 mm and is designed for use in low voltage, low power applications. The PCA9512ADP,118 supports fast switching with LEVSHFT, which reduces the propagation delay and power consumption compared to conventional buffers. It is capable of driving I2C/SMBUS lines up to 3.5 mA in intensity, with level shifting of up to 7 V, and its maximum operating frequency is up to 400kHz. The PCA9512ADP,118 features protection diodes limiting line voltages to -7V to +12V and is ESD protected up to 2kV.
