The PCA9511AD,118 is an HOT SWAP I2C/SMBUS line driver with buffers manufactured by NXP. It is designed for applications requiring hot swapping of I2C/SMBUS line drivers and buffers. It has two sides for controlling voltage and current, both output stages are disabled when power is lost. It features an enhanced current protection option that allows for current injection protection without the need for adding additional component. The PCA9511AD,118 also includes a programmable bus hanger (shutdown) function, allowing for the safe disconnect of stale I2C/SMBUS buses.
