The NXP BAP70-02.115 is a programmable pulse-controlled thyristor controller with a maximum acceptable load current of 115amp. It is designed for use as a variable speed drive for single-phase and three-phase induction motors and brushless DC motors with sinusoidal commutation. It is a complete system combining an integrated thyristor controller, motor control software, and an advanced control unit. The device is capable of controlling an induction motor in open loop or closed loop operation, including V/f, vector, or speed control applications. It includes protection functions including over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, and thermal protection. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
