MP6530 5V to 60V, Three-Phase Brushless DC Motor Pre-Driver FEATURES DESCRIPTION Wide 5V to 60V Input Voltage Range The MP6530 is a gate driver IC designed for Charge Pump Gate Drive Supply three-phase brushless DC motor driver Bootstrap High-Side Driver with Trickle- applications. It is capable of driving three half Charge Circuit Supports 100% Duty Cycle bridges consisting of 6 N-channel power Operation MOSFETs up to 60V. Low-Power Sleep Mode The MP6530 integrates a regulated charge Programmable Short-Circuit Protection pump to generate gate drive power, and uses a Over-Current Protection bootstrap capacitor to generate a supply Adjustable Dead-Time Control to Prevent voltage for the high-side MOSFET driver. An Shoot-Through internal trickle-charge circuit maintains sufficient Thermal Shutdown and UVLO Protection high-side gate driver voltage even when an Fault Indication Output output is operated at 100% duty cycle. Thermally Enhanced Surface-Mount Internal protection features include Package programmable short-circuit protection, over- APPLICATIONS current protection, adjustable dead-time control, undervoltage lockout, and thermal shutdown.
