MP62130/MP62131 3.3V/5V, Single-Channel 500mA Current-Limited Power Distribution Switch with Output Discharge The Future of Analog IC TThe Future of Analog IC Technologyechnology DESCRIPTION FEATURES 500mA Continuous Current The MP62130/MP62131 Power Distribution Accurate Current Limit Switch features internal current limiting to prevent damage to host devices due to faulty Output Discharge Function load conditions. The MP62130/MP62131 2.7V to 5.5V Supply Range Analog switch features 90m on-resistance 95A Quiescent Current and operates from 2.7V to 5.5V input. It is 90m MOSFET available with a guaranteed current limit, Thermal-Shutdown Protection making it ideal for load switching applications. Under-Voltage Lockout The MP62130/MP62131 has built-in protection 8ms FLAG Deglitch Time for both over current and increased thermal No FLAG Glitch During Power Up stress. For over current, the device will limit the Reverse Current Blocking current by changing to a constant current mode. MSOP8 and SOIC8 Packages As the temperature increases as a result of APPLICATIONS short circuit, the device will shut off. The device Smartphone and PDA will recover once the device temperature Portable GPS Device reduces to approx 120 C. Set-top-box The MP62130/MP62131 is available in MSOP8 USB Power Distribution and SOIC8 packages. MPS and The Future of Analog IC Technology are Trademarks of Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
