MP2459 0.5A, 55V, 480kHz Step-Down Converter in a TSOT23-6 The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2459 is a monolithic, step-down, switch- 0.5A Peak Output Current mode converter with a built-in power MOSFET. 1 Internal Power MOSFET It achieves a 0.5A peak-output current over a Stable with Low-ESR Ceramic Output wide input supply range with excellent load and Capacitors line regulation. Current-mode operation Up to 90% Efficiency provides a fast transient response and eases 0.1 A Shutdown Mode loop stabilization. Fault condition protections Fixed 480kHz Frequency include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal Thermal Shutdown shutdown. Cycle-by-Cycle Over-Current Protection The MP2459 requires a minimal number of Wide 4.5V-to-55V Operating Input Range readily-available external components. The Output Adjustable from 0.81V to 0.95*V IN MP2459 is available in a TSOT23-6 package.
