MP2144 2A, 5.5V, 1.2MHz, 40A I , COT Q Synchronous Step Down Switcher The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2144 is a monolithic, step-down, switch- Wide 2.5V-to-5.5V Operating Input Range mode converter with internal power MOSFETs. Output Voltage as Low as 0.6V It can achieve up to 2A continuous output 100% Duty Cycle in Dropout current from a 2.5Vto-5.5V input voltage with Up to 2A Output Current excellent load and line regulation. The output Low IQ: 40A voltage can be regulated to as low as 0.6V. 90m and 60m Internal Power MOSFET Switches The constant-on-time control scheme provides Default 1.2MHz Switching Frequency fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Fault condition protections include EN and Power-Good for Power Sequencing cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal Cycle-by-Cycle Over-Current Protection shutdown. Auto Discharge at Power-Off Short-Circuit Protect with Hiccup Mode The MP2144 is available in small TSOT23-8 Stable with Low-ESR Output Ceramic package and requires only a minimal number of Capacitors readily available standard external components. Available in a TSOT23-8 Package The MP2144 is ideal for a wide range of applications including high-performance DSPs, APPLICATIONS FPGAs, smartphones, portable instruments, Low Voltage I/O System Power and DVD drivers. Handheld/Battery-powered Systems Wireless/Networking Cards All MPS parts are lead-free and adhere to the RoHS directive. For MPS green status, please visit MPS website under Quality Assurance.
