MP2149 6V, 1A, Low Quiescent Current Dual, SYNC Buck Regulator The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2149 is an internally-compensated, Dual 1A-Output Current 1MHz fixed-frequency, dual PWM, synchronous, >93% Peak Efficiency step-down regulator. The MP2149 operates >80% Light-Load Efficiency from a 2.7V-to-6V input, generates an output Wide 2.7V-to-6V Operating Input Range voltage as low as 0.608V, and has a 45A 100m and 40m Internal Power MOSFET quiescent current that makes it ideal for 1MHz Fixed Switching Frequency powering portable equipment that runs on a Adjustable Output from 0.608V to VIN single cell lithium-ion (Li+) battery. 180 Phase-Shifted Operation The MP2149 integrates dual 100m high-side 100% Duty-Cycle Operation switches and 40m synchronous rectifiers for 45A Quiescent Current high efficiency without an external Schottky Cycle-by-Cycle Over-Current Protection diode. Peak-current mode control and internal Short-Circuit Protection with Hiccup Mode compensation limits the minimum number of Thermal Shutdown readily-available external components. Available in an 8-pin TSOT23-8 Package Fault-condition protections include cycle-by-cycle APPLICATIONS current limiting and thermal shutdown.
