MP2104 1.7MHz, 600mA Synchronous Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2104 is a 1.7MHz constant frequency, High Efficiency: Up to 95% current mode, PWM step-down converter. The 1.7MHz Constant Switching Frequency device integrates a main switch and a 600mA Available Load Current synchronous rectifier for high efficiency without an 2.5V to 6V Input Voltage Range external Schottky diode. It is ideal for powering Output Voltage as Low as 0.6V portable equipment that runs from a single cell 100% Duty Cycle in Dropout Lithium-Ion (Li+) battery. The MP2104 can supply Current Mode Control 600mA of load current from a 2.5V to 6V input Short Circuit Protection voltage. The output voltage for the MP2104DJ Thermal Fault Protection can be regulated as low as 0.6V, while the output <0.1 A Shutdown Current voltages of the MP2104DJ-1.5 and 1.5V and 1.8V Fixed Output Versions MP2104DJ-1.8 are fixed at 1.5V and 1.8V, Space Saving 5-Pin TSOT23 and 6-pin thin respectively. The MP2104 can also run at 100% QFN Packages duty cycle for low dropout applications. The MP2104 is available in low profile (1mm) APPLICATIONS 5-pin TSOT and 0.75mm TQFN-6 packages.
