The SD05 is a SOD-323-packaged Thyristor-Varistor Surge Protection Device (TVS-SPD) manufactured by Microdiode Electronics. It features 18V, 6V, and 5V configurations for circuit protection and is RoHS compliant. It is designed to clamp transients with a fast response time and a current handling capacity of 7A and 8A peak pulse power. This device is particularly suited for protection of sensitive electronic devices against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and transient overvoltage.
