TechnologyThe MCP4706A0T-E/CH is a single 8-bit non-volatile digital-to-analog converter (DAC) manufactured by Microchip Technology. It features an external voltage reference, 2-wire based I2C interface, a guaranteed 100 ksps throughput and an integrated EEPROM memory. It also includes an enhanced Power-On Reset (POR) circuit that monitors and generates a reset if the supply voltage is outside the determined operating range. The DAC is ideal for temperature control, motor control, analog set-point control, and light and color control applications that require low power, low voltage operation.
