The MCP16501TA-E/RMB is a Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) manufactured by Microchip. The MCP16501TA-E/RMB is designed to simplify power system design for a variety of applications, from portable electronics to commercial/industrial applications. It features an integrated linear regulator, low dropout and high output current regulation, and a current limit accuracy of ±3%. It is also equipped with 3 general control outputs and 2 op-amps. The MCP16501TA-E/RMB is designed to work from a 3.3 to 30V input supply range, and can support a maximum output current of 3A (5A peak). The device also offers overvoltage protection, input voltage monitoring, thermal shutdown, and an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It is available in a RoHS-compliant 14-pin SOIC package.
