The KSZ8851SNLI-TR is a scalable, single-chip, dual-port, 10/100 MAC/PHY Ethernet LAN (Local Area Network) controller from Microchip. It supports both 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet communication technology, as well as multiple PHY/MAC interfaces. It also provides data throughput at up to 200 Mbps and supports standard Control/Status interface (CSI). Additionally, the device has an advanced Layer 2 packet engine with support for 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, and an embedded switch processor, allowing it to support advanced packet-filtering and forwarding features. The device also has a serial EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) interface for board-level configurations.
