The MHL512IR059CRT is a through hole infrared (IR) LED manufactured by MEIHUA. It is RoHS compliant and features a 90-degree angle and a viewing angle of about 130 degrees. It also has an on-board filter that restricts visible light and a forward voltage of 1.2V. The LED is capable of emitting infrared light with a wavelength of 950nm. The device is also equipped with a low current of 50mA and a high power dissipation of 500mW. The operating temperature range is from -40 up to + 85 C. The LED also has a shielded lens design which helps to reduce false triggering.
