The SP485REN-L/TR is a RS-485 Transceiver with 1 Mbps 5 V Low Power 1/10th Unit Load manufactured by MaxLinear. It is part of the SP485R series of products and comes in an NSOIC-8 package. It features a low power consumption of 150 µA and has a low input threshold voltage of 0.8 V for proper RS-485 levels. Its bus-oriented output driver has a short-circuit current limiting feature and its fast turn-off time ammounts to 164 ns. It is suitable for applications requiring low power consumption and low voltage control. It is designed for + 3.0 V to +5.5 V single supply operation and -7 V to +12 V differential voltage range between A and B terminals.
