The LP3992-28B5F is a Low Dropout Regulator (LDO) SOT23-5 RoHS manufactured by LOWPOWER. It is designed to provide low-noise, high-precision and fast-transient performance for an input voltage of 2.5 V and an output voltage of 2.8 V. The device supplies a total output current of up to 500 mA in normal operation and 800 mA in maximum pulsed mode. It implements an adjustable output voltage range of up to 20 mV and includes internal current limitation and thermal shutdown protection. The low dropout voltage and stable output voltage allows for operation in space constrained applications and the SOT23-5 packaging allows easy mounting and cost savings.
