The Logilink CA1050 is an optical splitter designed to split a single optical signal from a single optical fibre cable into two different optical signals. It is designed with two inputs and two outputs and can be used to link up two or more Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks. The CA1050 is a type ‘A’ passive splitter, suitable for both Physical Layer (OS1 / 2) and Digital Services Layer (SDH / PDH). It features wide wavelength pass-band shift for higher frequency tails, low insertion loss, low back reflection and excellent return loss. The CA1050 is also compliant with the ITU-T G.667 standard, ensuring that it is suitable for use in any FTTH network.
