Lite-On’s MOC3021S-TA1 is an optotriac with a maximum working voltage of 5kV, 400V output, and does not include a zero voltage crossing driver. It is a Break-Before-Make triac driver optocoupler with an output stage optically isolated from the input. This optotriac has a wide input voltage range of 0 to 12V to drive sensitive TRIACs, commonly used for triac AC switch control. It is a 6-pin package and is able to withstand high temperature conditions.
