The DS1302Z with SOP-8 Real-time Clocks (RTC) ROHS manufactured by JSMSEMI is a low-power, highly accurate timekeeping chip containing a built-in 3V lithium battery. The DS1302Z includes a binary-coded decimal (BCD) clock/calendar and 31 bytes of non-volatile, static RAM. It features a simple serial interface, high accuracy timekeeping, and a battery-backed RAM. It includes weekday/month/date, hours, minutes, and seconds information, and provides two Configurable time-of-day alarms.
