LIA135 / LIA136 Low Voltage Optically Isolated Error Amplifiers INTEGRATED CIRCUITS DIVISION Features Description Low Input Voltage of 1.6V over temperature The LIA135 and LIA136 are low voltage optically Precision reference, error amplifier, and optocoupler isolated error amplifiers with a precision in a single package programmable shunt reference combined into a single Voltage Reference: 1.299V 0.5% 25C package capable of operating down to 1.6V. The LIA135: 1% -40C to +85C optocoupler portion of the LIA135 / LIA136 comprises LIA136: 1.5% -40C to +110C an infrared LED that is optically coupled to an NPN LIA136: Reduced dark current at high temperature phototransistor providing a current transfer ratio from Common Mode Transient Immunity: 500% to 2000%. Ensuring low voltage performance, LIA135: 5V/ns the input voltage range of 1.6V to 10V is guaranteed LIA136: 20V/ns over the operational temperature range. Simplified frequency compensation The combination of features in the LIA135 / LIA136 CTR 500% to 2000% are optimal for use in isolated AC-to-DC power Lowest optical offset current (I vs. V ) CE LED supplies and DC-to-DC converters. The bias current for the shunt regulator does not pass through the LED, Applications which eliminates bias-related optical current, giving the user the industrys largest dynamic range (1000:1).
