The TLP521-2XGBSMT&R optocoupler with SMT&R-8 RoHS manufactured by Isocom is an electrical component designed to isolate one circuit from another. It consists of an infrared light source and a photosensitive detector which are connected together by an optical pathway. The infrared light from the LED is modulated at the input of the opto-coupler and the signal is received by the detector which amplifies the input and provides a high voltage output. It is a RoHS compliant and has a compact form factor with low profile design for space-saving applications. It is also capable of high-speed operation and has a wide supply voltage range.
