The Infineon XMC4800 RELAX ETHERCAT KIT with Dev.kit is a development and evaluation platform developed by Infineon Technologies. This SDK is made up of a comprehensive set of hardware, software, and documentation to help users learn, develop, debug, and prototype with their applications based on the XMC4800 ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller. The XMC4800 ARM Cortex-M4 Microcontroller is equipped with up to 256KB of Flash, 48KB of SRAM, an integrated DSP and floating point unit, up to 14-bit ADC, a many peripherals such as USB and CAN. This platform is a complete solution for automation and control applications and allow to develops EtherCAT slave nodes applications. The kit consists of a XMC4800 microcontroller, comprehensive range of accessories including XMC1000 board, 2x add-on connectors for additional user functions, I/O Interface to EtherCAT network and power supply. The two add-on connectors provide a flexible way to access the XMC4800 peripherals and can be used for a variety of applications. The Dev.kit also includes online development tools and guides as well as an extensive professional software library and examples. All of these components provide a comprehensive and easy-to-use development platform for quick development and testing of automation applications.
