MCEToolV1 MCEToolV1 Isolation Box and IR Download Cable Description MCEToolV1 comprises of Isolation Box and IR Download Cable (IRCable). IRCable is used for programming the flash and one time programmable (OTP) memory of 300 Series, 100 Series, 500 Series and 99 Series Digital Control ICs. Isolation box provides UART and JTAG isolation while providing VPP for OTP programming. ATTENTION: The input to the isolation box through the JTAG and UART is non- isolated and the ground potential of the drive connected which to target board is biased to a negative DC bus voltage potential. When measuring voltage waveform by oscilloscope, the scope ground needs to be isolated. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or death. ATTENTION: The target board contains dc bus capacitors which take time to discharge after removal of the main supply.
