Infineon offers an easy-to-use platform intended for first evaluations of power MOSFETs in set-ups ranging from a single half-bridge to a three-phase inverter (motor drive topology). The platform provides an easy approach to power MOSFET paralleling, without the need for soldering processes on the Insulated Metal Substrate (IMS) boards. All the necessary connections are established through the onboard connectors. This offers a fast method of hardware requirement verification, as the platform can be used instead of various preliminary test designs, thus shortening the initial design phase.
