TechnologiesThe IC3PCS02G PFC controller with Power Factor Correction (PFC) is a member of the GreenEdge™ family of products by Infineon Technologies. This single-phase PFC controller provides a current-controlled Boost topology, meeting highest system requirements for PFC regulation. It includes features such as high efficiency and low THD, and drives low cost solutions with its integrated current limitation. This device also integrates comprehensive protection functions such as VCC under-voltage lockout (UVLO), temperature protection, over-voltage protection (OVP), and adjustable voltage and current limit. The GreenEdge current mode of operation offers fast transient response, and seven resolution settings together with an externally adjustable power limit of 1.3 to 3.3VA ensure high system accuracy. This high level of integration makes the ICE3PCS02G PFC controller a flexible, cost-effective, and reliable solution for applications such as LED drivers, power supplies, and AC-DC power adapters.
