GERMF-04 is a part of the Igus system that is used for motion control. It is a motion control module that is used to control stepper motors and other motion devices with high speed and accuracy. The module is equipped with an integrated motion controller, motion servos, and motion amplifiers as well as monitoring and diagnostics equipment. It uses a fieldbus system to communicate to the other modules in the system ensuring precisely timed and coordinated motion control of multiple axes throughout the system. This module is also capable of providing a closed loop control system to ensure accuracy and precision of the movements.
