The ULN2003A from IDCHIP is a high voltage, high current Darlington transistor array in an SOP-16 RoHS package. It consists of seven NPN Darlington pairs that can be used as either digital switches or as amplifiers with gain. Each Darlington pair includes an Input and a Collector/Emitter terminal. It can be used to drive up to 500mA of current from a logic level signal and can switch up to 50V. This part is designed for switching high power loads, such as relays, lamps, printer solenoids, and motors. It is ideal for applications where minimum power consumption or signal isolation is desired.
