The AD4057 is a through-hole 6-pin RoHS SOT23-6 battery management integrated circuit (PMIC) manufactured by IDCHIP, Inc. It provides protection for single-cell lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries under normal operating conditions. It includes a charge/discharge protection circuit, over-voltage protection, over-discharge protection and over-temperature protection. It supports fast charging and trickle charging for single-cell Li-Ion/Li-Po batteries, and provides accurate charge current and voltage monitoring. It also features a low quiescent current to maximize battery performance and reduce power consumption in standby/dormant modes. The device offers adjustable over-voltage and over-discharge protection threshold levels, as well as factory-programmable predefined thresholds. It includes an LED driver output to indicate charging and discharging states. It is equipped with SIPpin technology to facilitate safe and secure power distribution.
