The LM2940S-3.3 is manufactured by HTC Korea and is a low dropout regulator (LDO) SOT-223-3L RoHS (Recyclable, Lead-Free). It is a 3.3 volt LDO designed to ensure a highly efficient, low noise operation with low quiescent current (only 40µA), making it ideal for applications that require both high current and low power. The LM2940S-3.3 has an on/off control input, enabling the user to instantly switch the regulator into or out of operation.
