UE-280.55/S8-TG is a type-tested gas valve made by HR Components. It is designed for use in liquid, vapor and combination applications in heating, cooling and refrigeration systems. The valve can be directly mounted on a vessel, or with the optional flange kit it can be mounted to a pipe. It features a modular design and is built with corrosion-resistant components. The valve is composed of a bronze body and trim, a clamped stainless steel Teflon valve seat, and an optional metering orifice. It is designed to regulate flow and pressure with a wide range of valve sizes that operate at pressures up to 350 psi (24 bar). The valve is designed and tested to CSA Standard CSA-B149.2 and UL 2079, UL 873 and UL 1037.
