The SS495A1 is a Board Mount Hall Effect/Magnetic Sensor manufactured by Honeywell. It is a latching Hall Effect/magnetic switch which utilizes the Hall Effect principle for switching close proximity magnetic materials. This sensor is designed to facilitate a wide variety of replaceable sensing distances and switching points without any need for alternatives. It has an operating current of 10mA, an operating voltage of 5V/9V, and a 3-pin design. It is also RoHS compliant and UL rated.
