The BS816A-1 is an 8-bit MCU with integrated touch screen controller IC manufactured by Holtek. It includes a 12K byte ROM, 192 byte RAM, 8-bit timer/counter, and 8-bit I/O ports. The integrated touch screen controller ICs (NSOP-16 RoHS) provides reliable operation for analog resistive and capacitive touch screens, and can be used to detect single or multiple touches on a display. It also supports 5-level gesture detection. The 8-bit MCU is optimized for low power consumption, making it ideal for portable applications.
