The BS8112A-3 is an integrated LCD touch screen controller IC manufactured by Holtek and is RoHS compliant. It is available in an NSOP-16 package and is designed to provide a very efficient multi-touch, display and touch controller solution for advanced LCD touch screen applications. It supports all touch screen types including capacitive, resistive and IR, as well as 8-bit/16-bit MCU Interface. It also features a 10-bit ADC which supports up to 6-channel x-y coordinates and multitouch tracking. The IC supports low power consumption, provides better performance, and is suitable for low cost applications. It supports a maximum resolution of 1024x768 and the maximum data size reaches up to 256 bytes. The IC also features a registers read/write and interrupt control interface.
