Reliable Systems
The KS01-BLV-5 is a dual level redundant system designed for use in critical, highly reliable applications. It features two separate systems that are connected by an interconnect cable and share various sensors, displays, and components. The primary system consists of a single PLC controller and is used to run the main operations of the system. The secondary system contains a single PLC controller and a companion processor. Both systems run identical software and share the same control signals, but only one system is active at any given time. The main system is designed to take control in the event of a fault with the other, allowing for continuous operation of the system regardless of any individual component failure. The redundancy of the system allows for rapid recovery in the event of a failure, minimising downtime and potential safety issues. The system also includes integrated diagnostic and maintenance functions, allowing for quick service and repair without requiring specialist knowledge.
