The MAX7219N with LED Drivers DIP-24 RoHS manufactured by HGSEMI is an integrated serial input/output common-cathode display driver. It is designed to drive either a single LED digit or a string of up to eight LED digits. It includes a shift register, a multiplex driver and five algorithms to display numbers, letters and graphics in the 128-segment LED format. The device features a power-on reset, a programmable-blanking interval for keeping the LED display visible at low data rates, a programmable shuttle shift for smooth display multiplexing, and a built-in digital-to-analog converter. It operates with a single power supply from 5V to 24V, and is offered in a 24-pin DIP(Dual In-Line Package) RoHS compliant package.
