The Good-Ark SMBJ12CA is a transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode featuring DO-214AA RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant construction. This device is designed to protect against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and power surges in consumer electronic devices and includes a 150W peak pulse power rating with excellent clamping performance. It is suitable for use in a variety of medium power applications including DSL, digital displays, consumer electronics, and other similar applications. The SMBJ12CA has high surge capability, low reverse leakage, and low clamping voltages. It is packaged in a surface-mount plastic SMA package and is available with either anode or cathode connections.
