The GD25Q40CTIGR is a 4Mb (512K x 8) SPI SOP-8_150mil RoHS compliant Flash memory device manufactured by Gigadevice. It is a non-volatile memory chip which allows storage of permanent data without the need of an external power supply. This chip features SPI read frequencies up to 104MHz and is in SOP (Small Outline Package) 8-pin version. It is a RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant device which has a 150mil foot-print and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
