The GBU8M is a Bridge Rectifier 1000V 4A 1.1V @ 4A manufactured by Formosa. The rectifier converts AC power to DC power through a bridge rectifying circuit. It is RoHS compliant and performs up to 4 amps of current at 1000 volts of direct current. It has a maximum rated surge forward current of 8 amps and a junction temperature range of -40 to +150 degrees Celsius. The device is also compliant with Class B EMI requirements. The GBU8M is ideal for use in applications such as switch mode power supplies, lighting control systems, motor/solenoid applications, and UPS systems.
