The FM540S-AL with Schottky Barrier Diodes (SBD) SMA-L RoHS is a state-of-the-art electronic component manufactured by Formosa. It features two back-to-back Schottky diodes which act as a series-connection device, and are available in DO-214AC SMD packages. The Schottky diodes are made out of low barrier metal-semiconductor (MS) junctions, making them suitable for ultrafast turn-ON/turn-OFF operation with very low voltage drop, and ultra low-capacitance. The FM540S-AL SBD is RoHS compliant and has a maximum operating current of 800mA and a maximum voltage drop of 500mV. The forward voltage is typically around 0.2V. The FM540S-AL SBD is suitable in many applications such as power supply circuits, DC converters, automotive parts, switching regulators and mobile phone circuits.
