The TP4056M with PMIC - Battery Management MSOP-8-PP RoHS is a micro power system-on-chip (MPSOC) developed by Extension Microelectronics. This integrated circuit includes a high-efficiency battery charger, protection and parameters optimization for Li-Ion batteries, as well as an adjustable system power management bus. It supports synchronous buck-boost converter or buck switching topologies, allowing the user to configure the system for low power or high current applications. It has a wide input voltage range of 4V to 24V, supports up to 10A charging current, and has an adjustable system voltage output range of 0.9V to 24V. It is designed to support the 5-cell Li-Ion battery combinations typically used in consumer electronics, as well as single cell and 3-cell Li-Ion batteries. The chip also supports multiple safety functions to protect the battery from over-voltage, over-current or over-temperature conditions. It is available in an 8-pin MSOP-8-PP RoHS package and is compliant with RoHS regulations.
