The Everlight PT15-21B/TR8 is an infrared phototransistor. It is designed to respond to infrared light in the 880nm wavelength range. The transistor has an active area of 0.6x0.2mm and a gain of 40 to 80. The device is provided in an SMD package with an epoxy lens cover that has a wide viewing angle. It has a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 40V and a minimum collector current of 5mA. The device has a built-in reverse-bias diode for protection, and it is RoHS compliant.
