The ITR8307/S18/TR8 (B) is an SMD-4 RoHS compliant Photo Interrupter made by Everlight, a Taiwanese LED components and products manufacturer. It is a miniature optical switch designed for a variety of applications such as encoders, motion-control, automatic-testing and instrumentation. This photo interrupter has a built-in Zero-Cross Detection circuit, which ensures stable operation over the whole range of input, eliminating false operations caused by overload. The optical pitch of the device is 1.0mm and it consists of an infrared emitting diode and a photo-transistor housed in a plastic housing. In addition, the ITR8307/S18/TR8 (B) has a high on-state current capability, with a typical 0.5A and a maximum 2A. It is an RoHS compliant device and can operate within a temperature range from -25 to 85 degrees Celsius.
