The IRM-H638T/TR2 is an infrared receiver-infrared LED combination manufactured by Everlight. It uses an Infrared Photo Detector and an Infrared LED to detect and transmit infrared signals. The receiver consists of a monolithic chip that ensures wider acceptance angle, better contrast ratio and improved reliability. It has an built-in amplifier and a photodetector that provides high sensitivity and wider operational ranges. The LED has a peak emission wavelength of 940nm with a half-wave voltage of 1.5 V and a continuous forward current of 30mA. It can be used in various applications such as remote control systems, industrial automation, consumer electronics and medical devices.
