The central cross bar acts as a standoff which gives additional support when resting the pipe on top of a com- ponent. This Optopipe is designed to allow arrays to be laid out with the SMT LEDs on a continuous 0.228 pitch. The rec- ommended light sources are Dialight s 597 Series 1208 or 1210 Type SMT LEDs. The Optopipe material is water clear transmissive polycarbonate rated UL94-V0, and has a 35% oxygen index. Dialight can provide custom Optopipe solutions for your applications.
