ACPL-227-500E is a low-side gate driver optically isolated high frequency ACPL-227-500E from Broadcom. It is a single package dual channel Gate Driver, featuring Matched Rise and Fall Time (tR, tF) for both output channels. It is designed for driving MOSFETs, IGBTs and SiC devices up to 500kHz and with a 5A peak output current. The integrated 5kVrms isolation barrier and -50V to 40V wide common mode operating range, make the ACPL-227-500E ideal for high-side and low-side applications. This size-saving (2.5 mm × 11.7 mm) optimized gate drive solution also includes a robust thermal shutdown protection.
