ElectronicsThe BPC-817MB is a surface mount optocoupler manufactured by Bright LED Electronics. It is an 8-pin, through hole, RoHS compliant component with an isolation voltage of 3000Vrms, a CTR of 0.7% to 22%, and a current transfer ratio (CTR) of 50mA (min). The optocoupler is designed to couple a high-current switching element to a lower voltage/current logic signals. The BPC-817MB also features a minimum insulation resistance of 100MO (min) and a diode reverse voltage of 5V. It is ideal for use in applications such as automotive ECUs, industrial motor control, and power-line modulation.
