The MMBT4401 series transistor is a NPN type bipolar junction transistor designed for use in general purpose amplifier and low signal switch applications. It is manufactured by Blue Rocket in either the SOT-23 package or the Choice Molded Package. The transistor has a fairly low saturation voltage VCE(sat) of 0.25V, allowing it to effectively switch logic signals at a low bias level. It is rated at a collector current of up to 600 mA and a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 40V. It is also available in RoHS compliant packaging, enabling its use in circuits with strict environmental specifications.
