MAX32655 Low-Power, Arm Cortex-M4 Processor with FPU-Based Microcontroller and Bluetooth 5.2 General Description Benefits and Features The MAX32655 microcontroller (MCU) is an advanced Ultra-Low-Power Wireless Microcontroller system-on-chip (SoC) featuring an Arm Cortex -M4F Internal 100MHz Oscillator CPU for efficient computation of complex functions and Flexible Low-Power Modes with 7.3728MHz algorithms that is qualified to operate at a temperature System Clock Option range of -40C to +105C. The SoC integrates power reg- 512KB Flash and 128KB SRAM ulation and management with a single inductor multiple- Optional ECC on One 32KB SRAM Bank output (SIMO) buck regulator system. On board is the 16KB Instruction Cache latest generation Bluetooth 5.2 Low Energy (LE) radio, Bluetooth 5.2 LE Radio supporting LE Audio, angle of arrival (AoA), and angle of Dedicated, Ultra-Low-Power, 32-Bit RISC-V departure (AoD) for direction finding, long-range (coded), Coprocessor to Offload Timing-Critical Bluetooth and high-throughput modes. Processing The device offers large onboard memory with 512KB flash Fully Open-Source Bluetooth 5.2 Stack Available and 128KB SRAM, with optional error correction coding Supports AoA, AoD, LE Audio, and Mesh on one 32KB SRAM bank. This 32KB bank can be option- High-Throughput (2Mbps) Mode ally retained in BACKUP mode. An 8KB user OTP area Long-Range (125kbps and 500kbps) Modes is available, of which 8 bytes are retained, even during Rx Sensitivity: -97.5dBm Tx Power: +4.5dBm POWER DOWN mode. Single-Ended Antenna Connection (50) Many high-speed interfaces are supported on the device, Power Management Maximizes Battery Life 2 including multiple SPI, UART, and I C serial interfaces, 2.0V to 3.6V Supply Voltage Range 2 plus one I S port for connecting to an audio codec.
