The MAX3225EEUP+T is an RS-232 interface integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by Analog Devices. It offers +/-15kV electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, 1 microamp (uA) shutdown current, 1 Mbps data transfer rates, and a 3.0 to 5.5 V operating voltage range. It has a wide range of features, such as an AutoShutdown Plus for ultra-low current consumption, an adjustable ESD clamp voltage level, a thermal limiting circuit for robust ESD protection, and a wide 3.0 to 5.5V operating voltage range.
