.The MAX13053ESA+T is a high-speed CAN transceiver with +/-80V fault protection, manufactured by Analog Devices. It is an industry standard IC that is designed for the interface between the physical layer of Controller Area Networks (CAN) and the signaling layers of the data link. It has load-independent symmetrical fail-safe voltage levels, adjustable signal conditioning, and constant power dissipation. The device can be used to meet ISO11898-2 and ISO11898-3 requirements for low-speed and fault-tolerant applications. It is also suitable for use in automotive applications, providing high node crash survivability due to self-protection measures. It is supplied in a 16-pin TSSOP package and operates at temperatures between -40 and 125 degrees Celsius.
